Dual 833A Vacuum Tube Tesla Coil

VTTC in action hitting the 28" mark multiple times!
Introduction
Having already built two solid state and three conventional Tesla Coils, it was time to build a vacuum tube Tesla Coil (VTTC).
Being a relatively young engineer with zero experience with small vacuum tubes, I decided to based my first VTTC using
an existing design rather than design one from scratch. This dual 833A VTTC is based upon a design by John Freau.

Schematics and Electrical Design
The following schematics are the current design for this VTTC. (Requires Adobe Acrobat 5.0)

VTTC in Action

After two days of tuning, this VTTC showed remarkable results consistently hitting a
28" aluminum foil target. This 28" isn't a maximum either. If I had more time to adjust the
distance of the aluminum foil, I am very confident I could have reached 29".
